After a long day of travel we settled here as we wanted to relax and be able to interpret the menu. The staff are friendly and try hard to be nice to you despite the language barrier, Had Coq au VIn and daughter had Salade Norande. She did not care for the meat on the salad as it resembled a really fatty sausage (which it was) but overall just a great first place to land, eat, drink some wine and orient yourself to the City. Caen is lovely in winter with decorations everywhere!
